For me, tea began as a treasure hunt—an aromatic love affair sparked by my father’s vintage trunk. Over the years, that trunk brimmed with over 100 rare teas from China, Japan, Taiwan, Russia, England, Turkey, Egypt, Kenya and more—each packet a promise of discovery. In 2011, driven by curiosity, I became India’s first certified Tea Sommelier at a prestigious tea school in Sri Lanka, studying under Japanese tea master Nao Kumekawa. I tasted nearly 100 cups a day, profiled over 2,000 varieties, and walked through tea gardens across borders That education ignited a mission: to demystify tea and share its wonders with India’s billions of chai-lovers. I started hosting tea experiences and workshops, where guests would say, “I’ve never had tea like this before.” That moment—when strangers discovered tea’s depth—was my moment of clarity With warmth & brews, Snigdha Manchanda Founder • India’s First Tea Sommelier Our blends are tiny rituals in a teacup — crafted to lift your mood and calm your mind.
